Suspended by Twitter

So, we just got ourselves suspended on Twitter.

Why?

We hope it is the link to the British site "The Guardian" in the last tweet that made it through. The account has not been hacked, there is nobody "to blame".

Are we upset or angry?

No.

To be perfectly honest, we have been around for long enough and seen life inside some of the world's big software companies to such an extent that not much can surprise us any more.

Being the weird characters we are, we are not afraid of problems with accounts because they always provide the very best insight into the workings of the folks who run the respective service.

One of our contributors had the opportunity to experience Facebook's way of dealing with account problems. It was stressful and eye opening but invaluable.

Getting trapped in an algorithm is part of life on the Web, and it will become even more of a issue in the future.

We don't know if this current episode will end without repercussions, meaning we'll joke about it, or if it will be an unpleasant series of events.

If they don't revoke the suspension, we'll just let Twitter go.
