Apples, Oranges, and Homeland

You have not seen anything like it! says German web site Zeit Online on 3 Feb 2012.

The article's author is raving about US TV show Homeland.

We at the K-landnews are talking about the article itself. We have not seen anything like this gusher!

22 reasons why Homeland may well be the world's best show these days, says the article.

22 reasons why hype is silly, we would say. Why? Because it is a remake of the Manchurian Candidate set out in the post 9/11 world, stretched into several seasons. It's not bad, it is simply not what the German reviewer makes it out to be.

The real reason for the glowing review has to do with fruit. Not with the fact that the main characters are nuts, but the apples and oranges comparison at the very beginning of the review.

The author compares it to a German crime show. If your bar is that low, anything out of the US is at least fabulous, and there are no superlatives other than "world's best" that can capture the fantastic qualities of Homeland.

Sophisticated analysis of the review has lead the K-landnews team to conclude that we are dealing with the first multi-page ReporterBot article found in the wild. We are certain to have discovered the two implemented ReporterBot features Big Data (google) and the native speaker human touch in the review, so thank you for adopting the forward thinking reporting pioneered by the K-landnews!

And also thank you for publishing the article today, because it gave the duty writer at the K-landnews material for a quick and easy post on a slow Sunday.
